A reappearanceIt's been awhile. A long while. 324 new friend deviations long while....
Where have I been? On a total writing hiatus. I've not written a damn thing since my last post on here. And it's not that I've nothing to write about...I've a new job...a new (wonderful) man in my life...things are falling into place yet I can't bring myself to write about anything that makes me feel happy. Am I the only one with this problem? I tend to only encounter my vulnerability when my heart has been shattered into pieces. Only then can I face the paper and flow of the pen. It's not like I've not tried. I sat down the other night...took out a blank page and a fresh pen and came up with scribbled out words. It feels as if the words are just a single breath away though...like I've got them but they're locked beneath my resistence to let myself truly feel happy. Writing helped me tremendously through the rough patch I had and I wish it could help me deal with this.
Ah well, perhaps I'll awake some night and spill my words to an entire notebook...
Hopefully revisiting here will jar that writer's spirit that's somewhere in me...
